TIME’S UP NOW is an Anti-Harassment Action Plan formed by 300 prominent actresses and female agents, writers, directors, producers and entertainment executives to fight systemic sexual harassment in Hollywood and in blue-collar workplaces nationwide. The initiative includes a legal defense fund, backed by $13 million in donations, to help less privileged women — like janitors, nurses and workers at farms, factories, restaurants and hotels — protect themselves from sexual misconduct and the fallout from reporting it.

Variety has announced that Jessica is among the Variety’s Power of Women Honorees alongside Chelsea Clinton, Gayle King, Blake Lively, Audra McDonald, and Shari Redstone.
Variety will celebrate their honorees at its annual Power of Women: New York luncheon on April 21. The event at Cipriani Midtown will be hosted by Vanessa Bayer (“Saturday Night Live”).
In partnership with Lifetime, the six women have been selected as Variety‘s Lifetime Impact Honorees for their humanitarian work. Each of the recipients will be featured on a cover of the magazine’s upcoming issue, which hits stands on April 18.
The Power of Women: New York event is tied to the annual New York Women’s Impact Report, which profiles women who made a significant impact in entertainment and media in the past year.
Academy Award-nominated actress Chastain is being recognized for her commitment to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading provider and advocate of high-quality, affordable health care for women, men, and young people.
More than 400 entertainment and media insiders are expected to attend the luncheon and cocktail reception. Karma Automotive is sponsoring the Karma Award to King, while Shea Moisture presents the Community Commerce Impact Award.
