Welcome to a new version of Jessica Chastain Network!
After dedicating completely to the gallery and get it up-to-date and fix things here and there, it was time for a change and a new layout. It took me a while, but in the end I managed to create something I liked that was cool and graceful just as Jessica is.
Our twitter also got a little style change.
Hope you like it!

Onscreen, “Unorthodox” star Shira Haas breaks free of her restrictive upbringing to start a new life as an artist. Offscreen, she’s simply a breakout — as one the year’s most exciting rising stars.

The 24-year-old actress, who lives in Tel Aviv, portrays Esther “Esty” Shapiro on the Netflix limited series. She’s playing a story based on real life: As directed by Maria Schrader, with a largely female creative team and crew, “Unorthodox” is adapted from Deborah Feldman’s 2012 best-selling memoir “Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots.”

But within a version of Feldman’s story, Haas finds something entirely new. Her work brings to mind the naivety of Carey Mulligan in “An Education” and the harder edges of Jennifer Garner from “Alias.”

On a recent afternoon, Haas spoke on a Zoom call with Jessica Chastain, her co-star in the 2017 war drama “The Zookeeper’s Wife,” about the role, how she prepared and why the show has struck a nerve.

Jessica Chastain: I’ve missed you so much. Where are you right now?

Shira Haas: I’m in Tel Aviv. It’s morning for you, isn’t it?

Chastain: Yeah, in this strange time when morning will last 12 hours.

Haas: That’s how I feel. Every day is upside down, but hopefully it will pass, like everything else.

Chastain: I loved your show. We’re here to talk about “Unorthodox,” and I am so proud of you.

So I had to start somewhere, and I decided that this was the right category to start with. I am sure 100% there are far more magazines featuring Jessica Chastain from 2019, and perhaps someone also has scans for those I could only find a cover for, but for now this is a good start. Additionally, I updated also the photoshoots category with missing outtakes. Take a look and enjoy!

Hello everyone,
it’s Claudia here the new owner of Jessica Chastain Network.
I wanted to take a moment to thank Luciana for the amazing job she has been doing in these years for this marvelous fansite, I don’t hide to you that I’ve always desired to make one my own, but since this was up and running, I was glad to visit it daily. No lies, it’s my most favorite fansite on the web. To be chosen to bring on its legacy it’s a deep honor I want to thank her for.
In the following days I will be working behind the scenes, updating missing things, probably moving a couple things around to adapt it more to my style, so allow me these few days to get to know what to do and especially the site.
Our twitter is always the same @chastainnetwork, go (or keep) following for news and updates.

Hello! Its been a while since last time I updated the site, and I’m sorry for that. My computer died back in December and since then I was unable to work on updates. Things are fixed now but, as expected, there’s a lot to catch up so bare with me while I do that.

To start, our gallery was updated with photos of the most recent events Jessica has attended. Enjoy!

Jessica was one of the many stars attending the opening night for “To Kill a Mockingbird” last night (December 13) at the Shubert Theatre in New York City.

Back in 2014 Jessica said in an interview to Glamour that “To Kill a Mockingbird” was her favourite book.

G: You’ve said you hope your acting allows women to imagine wider roles for themselves – to expand their imagination.
JC: To me, it feels like acting is an education in empathy. My favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, and Atticus Finch says soemthing like, “You don’t judge a person until you walk a mile in their skin.” When I’m acting I get to live with someone else’s dreams and their sorrows and their desires and their heart. Their loves and pains. I hope it’s teaching me. to be less judgmental and more compassionate. It’s like going to school to learn about other people. I’m profoundly grateful. We’re all connected.

Check in our gallery the first batch of HQ images added.

Jessica, Sophie and Simon visited the Brazilian CCXP last Friday, to talk about Dark Phoenix and the panel was amazing! But after it, they attended a live interview with the channel Omelete.

You can watch their interview below. Its a bit unsynchronized, because the original video has almost 10 hours but you can watch it anyway. Enjoy (and if reposting, be nice with this little source and give us a shout out)!
