The Huntsman, which is already being filmed in Surrey (England), is getting new additions to its already great cast. Sam Claflin was just reported to be reprising his role as William on this ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ prequel, TheWrap is reporting. He’s joining Jessica, Chris Hemsworth, Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron.
The sequel expands the universe established in the first film to reveal how the fates of Eric the Huntsman (Hemsworth) and Ravenna (Theron) intersected before they met Snow White (Stewart).
Cedric Nicolas-Troyan will direct from a script by Frank Darabont, who strengthened earlier drafts by Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos. Joe Roth returns to produce, while Palak Patel will executive produce.
The Huntsman is scheduled for a release on April 22, 2016.
