Happy New Year!
I’m finally back from my holidays vacation, and updates are now being resumed. Last December 30th Jessica visited the backstage of the Tony Award Winning Musical ‘Fun/Home‘ on Broadway at The Circle in The Square Theatre, New York City. My friend Haylie helped me with pictures of this event, which you can now find in the gallery.
A new old event has been added in our gallery. Back in September of this year Jessica attended the Variety Fandango Studio at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote The Martian alongside her co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Mara and Sebastian Stan. We were unable to add these images until now.
The UK issue of Vogue has some actors (Gwendoline Christie, Kathleen Kennedy, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Alfonso Cuaron, Jessica Chastain, Jonah Hauer-King, Danny Huston, Maggie Smith, Alan Bennett, Lea Seydoux, Stanley Tucci, Samuel L Jackson, Rachel Weisz, John Goodman, Annabelle Wallis) talking about why London has eclipsed Hollywood to become the beating heart of the industry today. You will find the page featuring Jessica (while on set for The Huntsman and photographed by Mary McCartney) and the photo shoot alone in our gallery.
Back in 2003, on her last year on Juilliard, Jessica signed a contract with producer John Wells to appear in some of his tv shows. One of this shows was the medical hit ER, that was on its 10th season and was one of the most popular shows from NBC. On her first screen credit, she did a small appearance as Dahlia Taslitz which is taking care of her father after he experienced severe brain-damage from a work accident years ago. Due to an infection, Dahlia brings her father into the hospital for medical attention. Although Dahlia says her father cannot speak, doctors begin to wonder whether he is as unaware as his daughter alleges.
We did have in our gallery screencaptures of the episode already, but in small quality. With the help of my friend Claudia we have now HD screencaptures, and I was also able to do a clip with all Jessica’s scenes, which you can now find in our video archive.
Jessica (and fellow Crimson Peak friends Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska and Guillermo del Toro) took the Friday to promote the film in New York, doing a Q&A at AOL BUILD studios, another one on Huffington Post, and later the night attending the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. I have over 300 HQ pictures of those events added in our gallery.
